CA 05

For this task I was handed a brief from Magnetic Magazine. The cover had to be inspired by one of the four chosen articles, and I had to make an illustration that would work both as a cover, and inside the magazine. The cover design is inspired by Pop Art style, combining old and modern culture by giving the statue an airpod. The layout of the magazine mainly consists of three-column grids, but some times I used two-column grid to make things easier for myself. I also focused a lot on using negative space and variation to provide contrast and make the magazine more reader friendly. The headings and body copy are consistent to provide continuity.
